The immediate invitation is to explore alignment, offer grounded guidance, or make an introduction. We especially welcome connections across the medical diaspora that can strengthen the listening program and future facilitator training.

Help the work grow with your support.
Global Mediation Team is preparing an Indiegogo campaign for Indian medical and professional diaspora communities worldwide. The initiative welcomes conversations about contributions, funding, and introductions. There is no fixed fundraising target at this stage. The scale of the work—including listening circles, facilitator training, and ongoing community support—will grow according to the funds raised, community needs, and capacity to deliver responsibly.
The Indiegogo campaign is not live. No contribution or tax-deductible donation mechanism is offered on this site yet.

SPRING CARTER PEACE WEEK · IN PLANNING
Another space to listen.
Global Mediation Team is planning a spring Peace Week conversation that would make room for a Kashmiri Hindu voice affected by the conflict. Ela Gandhi, Mahatma Gandhi’s granddaughter, has advised Raju on this work and may join the conversation. The program format, date, and individual participation remain to be confirmed, with consent and care guiding any invitation.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Rajkumar “Raju” Suryakant Bhatt
Founder & CEO · Global Mediation Team
Open Raju’s international biography ↗Raju works at the intersection of international peacebuilding, Global Social Witnessing, diaspora engagement, and thoughtful use of digital tools. On the International Day of Peace in 2023—the first anniversary of his mother’s passing—he took part in a United Nations program exploring how virtual reality could be used for peace. Later that year, Global Mediation Team organized a “VR for Good” session at New York University’s Data for Peace Conference, where he was listed as a speaker.
The proposed Kashmir Initiative carries that work toward facilitated listening with Kashmiri and diaspora communities. Its Kashmir implementation and future training pathway are being developed with prospective partners.
Sources and editorial notes
Prepared from the September 2026 Kashmir Docs4Peace Partner Overview and From Witnessing to Peacebuilding diaspora handout. Raju’s October 12 clarification frames this work as an initiative drawing on established Global Social Witnessing practice, with implementation scaled to funds raised and community needs. The figure 108 refers to a facilitator-training goal. The proposed sequence is not a fixed delivery calendar. The founder’s letter draws on Raju’s supplied Carter Peace Week talk; its caption-derived transcript has not been fully checked against the recording, so the letter is adapted and edited rather than presented as exact speech.
Carter School’s 2025 program confirms Raju’s Kashmir witnessing session; the 2026 program continued the theme. Justice Kaul’s quotations come from his published opinion. His recommendation was for a government-established commission; this website proposes a separate listening initiative. Descriptions of the 2025 slide, Raju’s conversations with Ela Gandhi, and the Indiegogo plan reflect Raju’s account. Project endorsements will be published only after each person has shared and approved their statement. No agreement with Kashmir University is in place; the fundraiser platform has not launched and no contributor is represented as having funded the initiative. The Pocket Project links explain Global Social Witnessing generally and do not represent an endorsement of this initiative. The Thomas Hübl video is a course discussion in which Raju asks a question; it is not a Carter Peace Week presentation. The Deutsche Welle link was supplied as background reading; no individual testimony is inferred from it. The video and original song are from Raju’s September 25 partner email; the lyrics follow his Kashmir Song document, and the three-slide viewer uses the PowerPoint attached to that email. The Carter Peace Week video is hosted on this website as a segmented HLS stream for browser playback. The MP3, lyric text, and slides are part of this website. The two credited Kashmir photographs are displayed with layout crops; original files and license terms are linked in their captions. Raju supplied the portrait used beside his biography; it is framed by the page layout.
